1. Become more domestic (i.e. keep my apartment at a livable standard of cleanliness, cook for myself more beyond making macaroni, and cook for Andy. Also make more cupcakes.)
2. Get back in shape. This one has already started and I lost 5 pounds between Nov and Christmas, but then gained 2 of them back during Christmas/New Years. So, oops, definitely got to hit the gym tomorrow (and possibly saturday) and make sure I keep up with the healthy eating (fruit instead of candy) and my yoga classes that I've been undutifully skipping. Also, there is a new class this year on tuesdays (Yoga/Pilates combo that I want to try.)
3. Find the time to make my art so that I can update my blog and website with new work. Work has been draining the last couple of months, what will the catalog and finalizing products and pulling overtime in order to do that - don't get me wrong, I really like my job, but it makes motivating myself to do MORE art when I get home hard. I can't post anything I do at work for legal reasons - the toy industry is like the video game industry - CRAZY AND REDUNDANDTLY SECRETIVE.
4. Find the time to CHILL without worrying about something. This probably means doing more yoga at home and getting back into meditating.

SO.
Job is great! Because really, come on, I AM A TOY DESIGNER DUDES. I worked on music boxes featuring an all girl rock band that I created, and I get to write a story that goes with them. So yeah. I also drew kitties, froggies, and butterflies. It's pretty neat that I'm getting paid.
Apartment is becoming great - still painting and unpacking since I'm always tired after work.
Feesh now has a REAL fish tank instead of a bowl, because I was too worried about Abby eating him while I was at work - she's been trying even when I'm sitting right there and is also neurotic (more than usual) from the move. But Feesh loves it! He's swimming around a lot for a geriatric fish.

Ah blerg, I'm moving this coming weekend. And I start my (REAL!) job next monday.
Oops. I guess I should pack more. Although my room is all creepy now because my books and art supplies are all packed and my mattress is all on the floor and shit. I had trouble sleeping last night because I was too low.
Also, "Blerg" = I've been watching (catching up on) 30 Rock which is by the way hilarious and awesome and you should watch it.
Blerg!
So, yes. If anyone wants a real life update, I am moving this weekend (please for the love of God help me move, guys, Deige, this means you because you're a 'maybe' on my facebook group). I start my fucking sweet job on monday.
August 9th (?) till the 15th, I will be on vacation with Andy's awesome family at the beach in their beach house (I can't remember what beach, or even what state said beach is in... I suppose I should find out.)
Uhhh, other than that, I am free pretty much every weekend after I start my job, so I hope I get to see you guys this summer before you run off to Japan/Pennsylvania/EffingSEATTLE, etc.
*EDIT* this was mentioned on TwOP, and I agree - Baltar and cockroaches will be the last living things in the universe.

Wow...so... I graduate in less than 24 hours. Surreal.

So, I was having a conversation with my lovely friend Hannah about what our dream room would be - the room you would want in your house that would just be PERFECT.
Mine is a medium-sized room that doubles as a studio and a library - built in wall shelving (possibly a cherry wood), huge windows. Light turqouise/teal walls and hardwood flooring. I have my drafting table and my sewing machine in there, with a big easy chair to read in.
And I got curious about what other people's might be. So please, comment about it : )
